My First Limerick!

The sneaky snake slithered up the rock
and hopped into a sock
He ate an ant
pulled up his pants
And drove around the block.

The Lion King Drawing

The Lion King!

A Cinema Experience

Have you seen the new Lion King movie? Well since it was the school break, my friend and family
took a ride down to the cinema and watched the movie.

It all started on one boring day… My mum realized that me and my siblings had nothing to do. So
she decided to tell our dad to take us and Tracey to the movies. When we arrived, we had to get our
tickets and treats sorted out. After everything was cleared, we went into the cinema and a feeling
of excitement rushed into my heart. As I looked at my siblings and Tracey, I could tell that they were
thrilled too. Finally, the ads were done and the movie was about to start.

The movie started off, with the welcoming of the newborn cub “Simba” I think that this story line has a
great moral because it’s telling people to not be ashamed of their mistakes and past. I would’ve liked
seeing more clips of how Simba was getting raised but the outcome of the movie was really good and
to be honest, I enjoyed it a lot. The movie editors did an amazing job because I felt like that the animals
were really talking! As we left our seats, we took a few pictures and ended the night with some churros
in our tummy.

Taking a trip to the cinema was a great adventure for me! I enjoyed the movie and even though the
beginning of the movie was a bit boring, I still had a wonderful experience! “Would you ever go watch
The Lion King?”

Student Led Conference! Term 3 And Science Fair

On 25 July 2019, I went to the student led conference with my mum. I showed my mum all the science fair items that room 10 had made. My project was about "how do we taste" my group and I made a diagram of a human body with all the features of how we taste. I read my writing to my mum and I think she liked it. I also showed her what levels I am on and what my goals are. Something, I really want to learn is to know all my time tables up to 12. Since I'm not as quite as good at reading within my other levels, I think I should read a couple books at home everyday, so that I can improve.

Smart Relationships!

A smart relationship to me means looking up to the person I befriend. I think the definition of a smart relationship means choosing your friends wisely and hanging out with someone who has a friendly reputation. I would like to have a relationship with someone who encourages me instead of putting me down. When we watched a video about smart relationships at cyber smart, it taught me how to have a balance of good friends on the internet and in real life. The qualities I look for is... honesty, respectful, loyal, trusting, inclusive and funny!
