Summer Learning Journey! W2 Day 1 , Activity 2: The Right to Vote!
I think it is not fair because everyone should get the right to vote because they live in the country as well. If I was someone who lived in Saudi Arabia , I would feel like I am living somewhere unrespectful.
Hi Wint,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you have participated in the Summer Learning Journey. I'm reading your blog from Canada as I'm Rachel Williams' mom and one of the bloggers involved in the program.
I agree with you that the right to vote should be everyone's right. As a woman and as a mom I would be most unhappy if I were not allowed to vote for the people who make hugely important decisions about my legal rights, about the safety of my country's food systems, education and health systems etc.
I hope you'll continue to work on some of the activities in the Summer Learning Journey and I hope you're having a wonderful summer holiday!

Kia Ora Wint!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your passionate and sympathetic opinion. I am with you, I think there is absolutely a lack of respect of the role that women have in families, communities and societies when women are not allowed to vote. Women are just as important in making decisions as anyone else and should be allowed an opinion on the things that affect them as well.
Keep up the awesome blogging! I look forward to reading more, Wint.
Nicky :)
