Fruits!

My favourite fruits are watermelon, frozen berries and mango. I like to eat fruits because they are
healthy for you and it’s really delicious. I mostly eat hard fruits because I’m a hard cruncher.

I love watermelon because it has a really nice flavour and it cools me down. Watermelons are so succulent
however I always take the seeds off because they taste like nothing and somehow for me it makes the
watermelon taste bad. I think watermelon has been my favourite fruit for a long time. Watermelons taste so
scrumptious and tasteful.

One of my other favourite fruits are frozen berries. The packet comes with blueberry, strawberry, raspberry
and blackberry. It is actually a couple of fruits but it taste so good frozen together. You can get them at Pak
N’ Save and there are different packets with different berries. It taste so sweet and fantastic. I eat them with
a spoon now because everytime, I eat them with my hands it would like I just murdered someone.

My third favourite fruit is mango because it’s really yummy. Sometimes it’s crunchy and sometimes it's soft
but I prefer hard. I usually eat them for dinner when I’m not that hungry. When, I’m in a hurry, I just have
one piece of mango for breakfast. My mum always buys mangos when she goes grocery shopping, so I get
to eat mangos a lot. I like mangos because they are wonderful and they give a sour taste to your taste beads.

I have always loved these fruits but I have to say watermelon is my favourite and I wish I can eat more
fruits that I’ve haven't eaten yet! What are your favourite fruits?

The Lighthouse // Summer Learning Journey, Day 18

                                              The Lighthouse!

It was happy new year at midnight , so that means I have to look after the lighthouse
because I am the only inventor in Canada. Everybody was celebrating happy new year
while i was doing my work in the lighthouse. I couldn’t focus because everyone was so
loud and I’m an old man , so I can’t hear that good. I decided to close the window
because I couldn't concrete.

Then , suddenly the light from the lighthouse went off. Everyone became quiet and
they weren't celebrating anymore. The wind was so blowy that it opened my window
and blew out my candle. I went down to get my lantern but instead I fell down. I still
got my lantern to fix the lighthouse tho! I ran and ran on the stairs until I got to the
top!

When i got to the top , I looked in the light ball  but……… then there was no light in
the light ball. I took the machine in the light but then I dropped because it was so heavy.
I said, to myself “ Oh what have i done , my boss is gonna kill me”! I sat down on the
floor and got mad of myself. Shoo! Shoo! I saw that a ship was almost hitting that big
rock because they didn’t have light to see where they were going. I felt really sad for
them.

Then  [KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!] someone was knocking on the lighthouse door
but who was it? I went downstairs and opened the door. Then I saw everybody that
lived in Canada coming in the lighthouse with a lantern , so they can help the ship not
hitting the rocks. We all went on every outside stairs and hold our lantern up. Then the
ship safely sailed off wherever they were going.

Then everyone celebrated in the lighthouse. That is the story , when I became the
best Canadian lighthouse keeper. Everyone lived happily ever after!
