A Taste Of Samoa!

Last week Thursday, the whole school prepared & gathered for an umu. It was Samoan Language week, so we wanted to do something very special. I helped out with some of the cooking and I am glad for the turnout of the umu. 

The Power Of The Coconut!

Today in class, we learnt the power of the coconut. The coconut is a nature's specialty and is very popular throughout our class. I have learnt all the different reasons how the parts of the coconut are useful. The coconut is truly a great source and a delicious drupe.

For LCS today, we had to make a poster of our own culture's traditional foods. Here is my poster that consist of pictures of the dish and a brief summary of what it is! I think Burmese food is really delicious and to anyone who wants to value another culture, you should really try one of these foods...

The Discovery

For today's writing, we had this specific picture from Pobble365 - The Discovery and Miss Tupou set questions for us to answer. The picture showed a fossil of a supposed dinosaur out in the open. It is a very entertaining picture and it is good to reminisce the manufactures of it. 

Reading W3, T2

For today's reading, we had to watch 2 videos and answer questions related to it. The first story was produced by Coco net TV and was about the legened of Telesa. It was a really interesting story and was good to learn about. The second film was about the god of Tonga and about the rising younger brother. I had learnt a lot of information from that story and overall it was amazing!

Today for maths, Miss Tupou had set tasks for us and here is my completed task. The questions were very interesting and the last one was a bit tricky, but sooner I got the hang of it. I wrote all of my supposed answers and how I worked it out.
