For my second task for writing, I decided to go on Pic Lits. It is basically a website that gives me a choice of images, and then i'll have to drag the words that match the picture!

Secret Magic

 

For writing, I went on pobble365 and picked a picture to write about. This picture is of a young girl walking on a roof tile with a mysterious cat. To me it seems that, this girl has magical powers and is going somewhere very supernatural.

For writing today, I decided to do 'Would You Rather'. I picked two would you rather questions and answered them. These are my answers to these questions!

For 'Word Work' today, I decided to do the word search. These are my spelling words for this week, and I put them into a word search! Can u find these words?

Maths

 

For maths today, I did 'Khan Academy' and 'Prototec'. Firstly, I watched a video on Khan Academy that taught me how to convert percentages to decimals. When I finally got the hang of it, I went on Prototec and did a basic facts sheet that was stage 7!

Tech Food Class - Mago Pork & Eggplant

At tech, I have cooking lessons. Yesterday, we had made 'mago pork and eggplant'. The ingredients consists of heated eggplant, mince, soy sauce, onions, garlic, chili sauce, corn starch, vinegar, salt and rice. My partner was Tracey and she was very helpful. The dish tasted delicious and was very scrumptious! 

Cook Island Facts Sheet

Since this week is Cook Island Language Week, we decided to create our own poster with facts about Cook Island. The Cook Island is a beautiful country with precious beaches and pearls. There are a few Cook Islanders amongst our class, so that is why it is really important to learn about Cook Island!
